Apple Support here. Lot of people in these comments saying it isn’t normal. It absolutely is normal. Batteries chemically age differently depending on how you use it. screen on time isn’t half as important as what you use that screen on time for. i’ve had my personal iPhone for a year and it’s still at 100% health and i leave the screen on literally all day.
If you can spend $100 and be happy, spend the $100. Don’t buy a new $1000 one if the old one works just fine. That’s just asinine. I have the same issue as you. I also can’t decide if it’s worth it to change the battery. I’m like if I don’t change it and save another 200 $ I can buy a new iPad. If you have an iPhone with Face ID, quick-press the volume up button followed by the volume down button. Then, press and hold the sleep/wake button until the Apple logo shows up. If that doesn’t solve your battery woes, then the battery may be the culprit and will require replacement. This is what prompted me to seek out an authorized battery replacement. It is relatively cheap, out of warranty only $69, compared to buying new iPhone 13 Pro Max that’s a steal!

We have from the 2nd Gen. iphone (aka iphone 3G) all the way to the current model and all the 'older' devices, we've kept those over the years with a Battery replacement, which in our case, we replace the battery when it drops below 90% (that meansUnpopular opinion: Just use your phone without worrying about the battery health. The iPhone 12 battery lasts for most people easily a day. Even if the capacity is at 80% it lasts long enough for most people. If not, just spend the 80 (?) bucks on a battery replacement.The proximity sensor is on the flex cable that has the earspeaker attached to it. Simply disconect it, and leave it disconected for now. Boot the phone and see if the phone still reboots after 3 min. If it does not, then that is probably the issue. Replace the proximity flex cable. Note: the proxi is part of the faceid circuit and you will wxvHYh8.
