Hi. I updated my mmi 2g on 2006 audi a6 c6and now dont have battery level option. I really need someone with equipment and knowledge to help activate Hidden Menu so i could bring this back. Im in Hamilton but can travel some miles. Let me know if you can help me out. Thanks
A6 (C7 Platform) Discussion - MMI Screen open/close at car start-up - Is there some way to mandate that the MMI screen not open/close each time the car is started? It is annoying to have the screen pop-out even if all I'm doing is pulling the car in the garage, or driving to the corner store to pick something up.
Car was involved in a minor accident (~7mph into bollard) and engine shut off. The automatic lever is in park but the car is saying its in drive and preventing the engine from being switched on. I have manually moved the gearbox lever into neutral and then park again but still the car is saying place the lever into park.
I have read a bit here and on other forums and still cannot make the hidden green menu appear. 1. Select 5F - Information Elect. 2. Select Security Access and entered S12345 password - the security code was accepted. 3. Select Adaptation 10. 4. Change the adaptation channel filter to 'devel', select 'IDE02122 Developer mode', set new channel

After much f'ing around, I actually got a brief glimpse into the parallel universe that is the 'hidden menu'!! I managed to activate the menu and reactivate the 'systems' icon on the 'car' section of the MMI. I also managed to switch off the TPMS system, so that's not bothering me now, although the icon is still on the dash. As I said, I was able to enable the green "Development Menu" via VCDS but coming from a B8 I didn't recognize the menu and the feature list was not what the C7 VCDS mod articles mentioned. So it looks like the C7.5 MIB2 unit isn't as useful as you said for modding things on the fly.
