Okay, unchecking "Hide DS4 Controller" does cause a scrolling issue with the widescreen fix installed. But even so, using that hiding feature should be a good workaround for now. I also found that changing LeftStickDeadzone to 0 in the widescreen fix config solved the issue for me.

When I attempted to install the widescreen fix, i pasted the scripts folder in as well as the dinput8.ual next to the SPEED2 file. I also installed some car mod, NFSU2ExtraOptions, and I'm using the universal widescreen patcher.

I've found the steering wheel is better for circuit races where control in corners matter but the controller is better for the drift races because of the ease of counter-steering.

Great for wide-screen and high resolution support, great for modern controller support as well. It's a must have. Also note that a version of this mod exists for pretty much all the old NFS games.

Unzip the NFSU Online Client in your NFSU directory and launch the client as an admin. The EU-central server should show up. Select "use server". Keeping the client running, launch NFS Underground (make sure your version is 1.4) Create a new account. This has to be done only once on each client. Create a new subaccount and play!

i use the dual ps2 - usb converter from redoctane.com with my dual shock ps1 controller. for some reason on games that support rumble it rumbles constantly but it doesn't on like, nes games and stuff. so i disable the rumble on nfsu2. i think i'm gonna pick up a ps2 controller and see if it still does that. but other than that it works great. I'm having a frustrating issue with my Xbox one s controller when playing on PC. I have the controller connected through Bluetooth the connection happened with no issues whatsoever but when I play need for speed and I'm accelerating the car is always slightly pulling toward the right. 05KY.
